Six-year-old July Jenkins has gone missing and anyone who’s anyone is following the case; each person coming up with different theories about what happened to her. Kristen is just as invested in the young girl’s disappearance, but she knows more about what happened to July than she’s willing to admit.

A literary inspired web series of Charles Dicken’s Oliver Twist. Created by Lacey Shaw, Twisted City follows young Olive Twist as she leaves her horrible foster home and goes searching for somewhere, anywhere else where adventure and trouble greets her.

A ten minute play accepted and performed at the Sixth Annual HamilTEN Festival. A spell is cast, a secret comes out, and roommates Tansy and Dora are coming to terms with high school, identity, and friendship.
ANY OTHER ROSIE

Any Other Rosie is a literary inspired web series based on William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, but with a twist. Instead of following the star-crossed lovers, this web series follows Romeo’s first love and Juliet’s cousin Rosaline and her perspective of the story. Rosie is a famous storytime vlogger who after a brief hiatus has come back to the vlogging world in full force to talk about her life, friends, family, and all the hardships in between. If only Rosie knew what she was getting into!
THE FEMMES FATALE

The Femmes Fatale is a historical inspired mini web series offering a dark and satiric look at the Hare and Burke murders of 1828. Lisette Hare and Evelyn Burke are your typical university students. They study hard, have a terrible new roommate, and are drowning in student debt. But that doesn’t stop them from making sure that their final year of university will be the best year ever! But their “best year ever” quickly becomes their worst after they accidentally kill their new roommate. Will Lisette and Ev be able to turn their year around? Or are they doomed to a life behind bars?

Given the words July, Baker’s Dozen, and Cave, playwrights were asked to write a play in twenty-four hours using the three words. I won first place for my script about a young woman named Kristen who accidentally ran over a little girl named July and is now hiding the body in her apartment.

Willa Arable has just moved from Killaloe, Ontario to the “big city” of Hamilton for university. Between strange roommates, struggling with classes, and missing her distant Aunt Fern, Willa’s in for a hard year.
