(Co-Writer. September – December 2016.)
The Femmes Fatale is a historical inspired mini web series offering a dark and satiric look at the Hare and Burke murders of 1828. Lisette Hare and Evelyn Burke are your typical university students. They study hard, have a terrible new roommate, and are drowning in student debt. But that doesn’t stop them from making sure that their final year of university will be the best year ever! But their “best year ever” quickly becomes their worst after they accidentally kill their new roommate. Will Lisette and Ev be able to turn their year around? Or are they doomed to a life behind bars?
THE END OF JULY
(Author. Hamilton Fringe Festival’s 24-Hour Playwrighting Competition. First Place. July 2016.)
Given the words July, Baker’s Dozen, and Cave, playwrights were asked to write a play in twenty-four hours using the three words. I won first place for my script about a young woman named Kristen who accidentally ran over a little girl named July and is now hiding the body in her apartment.
