Surprisingly, I’ve seen a lot of the Oscar-nominated movies this year. Usually I’m lucky if I can even recognize one of the titles, let alone watching it. Unless it’s that year’s Disney nominated animated feature, I probably haven’t seen it. Whenever I start thinking of a story, it usually begins with a witch. Sometimes she’s a young girl learning about her powers, other times she’s a coven leader trying to understand the signs that have been plaguing her, recently it’s been a girl who’s had witchiness thrust upon her as she’s trying to figure out this new title in her life out (more on that in a later post. Maybe…). Whoever these made up ladies are, the common thread between them are that they are witches, and I have never completed any of their stories. Continue reading
